Dallas-based brokerage Southwest Securities has recruited Peter Young and Dana Grabarchuk to its taxable fixed income division.

Young, who comes from Oppenheimer and Co., brings more than 20 years of experience to his new post as Senior Vice President – Institutional Sales Representative. He will report to Martin Gamboa, manager of the firm’s San Francisco office. Young also worked at Countrywide Securities, Bear Stearns and Advest before joining Southwest Securities.

In the New York office, Grabarchuk will operate as Vice President – Rates Dealer Sales Representative. She comes from JP Morgan Chase where she was the team lead on the interest rates sales desk.  Prior to that, Grabarchuk was with Huntsworth Financial Global Consulting Group and HSBC bank.

"As we continue to expand our sales and trading operations across the country, we are pleased to welcome Peter and Dana to our growing team," said Daniel Leland, Executive Vice President and Head of Taxable Fixed Income for Southwest Securities.
