Minneapolis-based Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America has hired David Parker as divisional vice president for its affiliate, USAllianz Investor Services. He oversees operations for states in the Northwest sales territory.

Kevin E. Murray has been promoted to executive vice president and chief information officer of AXA Financial in New York. He had been senior vice president and head of the I.T. department's application continuity team.

Robert Haddad has joined the Financial Planning Association in Denver as director of sales and relationship management. He oversees the FPA's efforts to sell advertising, sponsorships, and exhibit space.

Tampa, Fla.-based GunnAllen Financial has acquired an equity interest in Palm Harbor, Fla.-based HarborLight Capital Management. HarborLight's president, Dean G. Tanella, has joined the company as executive vice president of capital markets and as a member of the board of directors.

New York-based Neuberger Berman has acquired the assets and hired the portfolio management team of Sloate, Weisman, Murray & Co. in New York. Co-founder Laura J. Sloate has been named a managing director at Neuberger Berman. Other team members making the move include Donna Leone, former chief operating officer and principal, and Adam L. Hershey, a co-portfolio manager.

Darin P. Pope has joined United Atlantic Advisors in Secaucus, N.J., as chief investment officer and senior vice president. He had been senior vice president with Richmond, Va.-based Wachovia Securities.
