Mutual Service Corporation of West Palm Beach, Fla., has named J. Andrew Kalbaugh as their new chief executive officer. Kalbaugh brings 20 years of industry experience, broker-dealer knowledge and leadership abilities to the position.

For the past five years, Kalbaugh has served as president, chief executive officer and chairman of American General Securities in Houston. Prior to that, he was the director of the AIG Advisor Group. He is also a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority's Membership Committee. Kalbaugh received a bachelor's degree in business and economics from The University of Maryland.

"I am excited to be part of the MSC team and look forward to meeting with our advisors," Kalbaugh says. "I feel that the wonderful reputation MSC has, along with its partnership with LPL, has created a powerful launching pad to make a significant impact on our advisors' practices."

Mutual Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Linsco/Private Ledger in Boston.

“It changed the way I view my practice.”

“It was conceptual and practical at the same time.”

“It got me thinking outside of my daily to-do list!”
