Will The Universal Fiduciary Standard Really Succeed?

Blaine Aikin of fi360 insists that the supporters of a universal fiduciary standard for financial advisors and brokers haven't lost the war despite Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd's failure to make it a part of his recent reform bill. But, Aikin says, regulators are taking steps to extend the standard to all advisors despite the political partisanship that has stalled its progress.
