Frank J. Diekmann is Publisher of Credit Union Journal, the nation�s leading newsweekly serving the credit union community. Diekmann co-founded the Journal in 1997, and prior to that co-founded and developed another credit union newsweekly in 1990. During his career Mr. Diekmann has traveled to all over the U.S. and from Sydney to Prague covering credit union-related developments, has been a frequent judge of credit union marketing competitions, is a frequent speaker to credit union audiences, and is the only journalist to ever graduate from the National Credit Union Foundation�s Development Education program. Prior to covering credit unions, Mr. Diekmann covered the nation's banking and thrift industries for five years, and prior to that worked as a sports reporter in Cincinnati. Mr. Diekmann is also author of the book, Cathode Rays, the story of Cathode Ray�s Bar & Grill, where classic television characters go when they are no longer on TV. Mr. Diekmann is currently doing post-graduate work at the School of Hard Knocks.
