Shahin Clark is the CEO and lead consultant of Jamesville, New York-based Lodestone Banking, which provides specialized comprehensive revenue analysis for banks that tracks down and captures missing revenues that are lost through core system conversion, erroneous system settings, and mergers and acquisitions. In this position, Clark is responsible for directing banks� revenue improvement projects and leading the strategic direction of Lodestone.In 1994, Clark wanted to offer the banking industry a new way to locate lost revenue opportunities without layoffs, branch closings, higher fees, and changes to loan loss reserve or renegotiating vendor contracts. Utilizing what she had learned, Clark constructed a methodology which connects four key elements: bank senior management, core systems, test banks and customer transactional data from all bank channels, such as branches and ATMs. Clark�s methodology includes the projection of annual revenue and all steps needed for implementation and tracking results.Clark has more than 30 years of experience analyzing all departments in the banking industry and has worked closely with senior bank managers in the United States and Puerto Rico.�Prior to the creation of Lodestone Banking, Clark served in the internal consulting divisions of Marine Midland Bank/HSBC before joining a private consultation firm on projects for multi-regional institutions. In both of these roles, Clark oversaw the projects designed to increase banks� revenue through improved operational performance.�She has lectured at Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, ABA Community Banking Conference and the JHA Strategic Initiatives Symposium. Additionally, Lodestone was invited by the Chinese government to lecture on the subject of bank profitability and met privately with several of China's bank presidents, mayors and university professors.Clark graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in management information systems (MIS).
