Kate Magaram
Wealth Management and Retail Financial Services Consultant

As a consultant, commentator and Financial Planning columnist, Kate focuses on strategies for achieving success in the changing financial services landscape. In her consulting work, she helps clients develop customer-centric business models to build strong, lasting and profitable relationships. Before founding her own consultancy, Kate spent more than three years at TIAA, as Director of Direct-to-Consumer Strategy and Enterprise Customer Experience. Before that, she was a management consultant at Marakon, specializing in customer insight generation, competitive analysis, and business unit and enterprise strategy for consumer goods companies.

Kate started her career in corporate law, representing private investment funds at Debevoise & Plimpton. She graduated from Brown with a B.A. in Economics, and received a J.D. from Yale Law School.
