Anira's Granger Joins Leading Edge as Research Director

Kevin F. Granger has joined hedge fund Leading Edge Investment Advisors (LEIA) as senior vice president and director of research. Granger, who is also founder and CEO of Anira Advisory Group (AAG), another hedge fund, will continue in that capacity.

In addition, Clayton C. Jue, formerly of Northern Trust, is now Leading Edge's president and chief investment officer, as well as Anira's CIO.

The deal marks an exclusive agreement between LEIA and AAG that will pool
investment, operational and distribution infrastructure between the two firms.

"Our platform will be highly competitive, and will allow exceptional and promising emerging managers to focus on delivering the outstanding investment returns clients seek, but cannot easily locate for a variety of structural reasons," Jue said, in a prepared statement.

According to Granger, through LEIA and AAG, qualified emerging managers will be able to access institutional assets elegantly, allowing them to focus on one thing many clients seek: consistent alpha generation.
