Arrivato Advisors has announced the launch of the Arrivato Dow Jones U.S. Target Date Funds, a family of five target-date funds based on the Dow Jones U.S. Target Date Indexes.
The funds are: The Arrivato Dow Jones U.S. 2010 Fund, the Arrivato Dow Jones U.S. 2015 Fund, the Arrivato Dow Jones U.S. 2020 Fund, the Arrivato Dow Jones U.S. 2030 Fund and the Arrivato Dow Jones U.S. 2040 Fund.
The funds aspire to reduce their risk by automatically rebalancing their asset class allocations as the end dates draw near.
"With Dow Jones' outstanding reputation in the industry for accurate and independent financial analysis, we are delighted to introduce the first target date mutual funds based on the Dow Jones U.S. Target Date Indexes," commented Eric Rubin, president of Arrivato Advisors. "The Target Date concept has attracted a great deal of investor attention in recent months. We believe the funds, by utilizing the Dow Jones methodology, offer a needed solution for investors, who without the time or inclination to make complicated asset allocation decisions, may neglect to maintain the savings necessary for a particular life event."
All Dow Jones U.S. Target Date Indexes encompass 10 underlying indexes representing equities, bonds and cash. The indexes are also weighted according to the particular investment time horizon. This strategy allows investors to pick a single diversified account built of a combination of equity and fixed income securities that progressively adopts a higher conservative asset allocation with the advance of the fund's target date.
