BoA Hires Former Fido Marketing EVP Huang

Bank of America has named Claire Huang as head of marketing for its Global Wealth & Investment Management division.

She will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for the company's businesses serving affluent, wealthy, ultra wealthy and institutional clients nationwide. She will focus on building the company's profile and brand equity in banking, investment and retirement services for the affluent, private banking, retail and institutional investment management, and alternative investments.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Huang served as executive vice president of marketing and segment management for Fidelity Investments, where she was responsible for client acquisition, retention and brand strategies.

During her nearly 25 years of corporate marketing and brand management experience, Huang has worked for American Express Financial Advisors, Wise Foods Inc., The Haagen-Dazs Co., Cadbury Schweppes and The Procter & Gamble Co.

Huang holds an economics degree from De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines.

Odyssey Lists Investment Team Promotions

Odyssey Investment Partners LLC has announced several promotions within its investment team. William Hopkins and Brian Kwait, who were two of the founders in 1997, have been named co-presidents. Jeffrey McKibben and Craig Staub have been named managing principals, Robert Aikman and Ross Rodrigues have been named principals, and Dennis Moore and Matthew Satnick have been named vice presidents.

Northern Trust Appoints Two Senior Lenders

Northern Trust Global Investments Limited has promoted Sunil Daswani as head of client sales and relationship management for securities lending in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as Asia Pacific. In his new role, Daswani will be responsible for all securities lending client relationships outside North America.

Daswani joined Northern Trust in 2002 and has 15 years of industry experience.

George Trapp will succeed Daswani as regional manager for securities lending in Asia and will be responsible for addressing and evaluating securities lending initiatives in the Asia Pacific region.

Trapp was previously the senior sales and client relationship manager for securities lending in Northern Trust's Chicago office and has more than 20 years of experience in securities lending.

Northern Trust Names Investment Sales Strategist

Northern Trust Global Advisors has named Anna Dvinsky Domb as an investment sales strategist for its Emerging Manager Programs.

In her new role, Domb will work with corporations, public funds, endowments and foundations to guide them through the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of their programs for emerging managers.

"Anna will support the continued development of our Emerging Manager Programs by bringing a new level of guidance and expertise to our relationships with prospective clients and emerging managers," said Jennifer Tretheway, executive vice president and head of new business development and client service.

Prior to joining Northern Trust in Chicago, Domb was an investor relations manager with Canyon Capital Advisors.
