Noyes Joins Diversified Investment Advisors as VP

He comes to the firm from MassMutual Retirement Services, where he worked for 11 years, most recently as a sales and marketing executive covering western New England and upstate New York.

Before that, he was with CIGNA, also for 11 years, spending the last nine as a consultant to retirement clients.

Corkins, Manager of Janus' Flagship Fund, to Depart

David Corkins, manager of five Janus funds, including the flagship Janus Fund, and a 12-year veteran of the firm, will be leaving by the end of the month to pursue other opportunities. Jonathan Coleman, manager of the Janus Enterprise Fund and a co-chief investment officer at the firm, will take over the funds for Corkins.

In August, veteran manager Scott Schoelzel said he would be leaving by year-end. Since early 2006, 13 Janus fund managers have left.

"David built an exceptional track record at Janus as one of the industry's preeminent growth managers, and we wish him well in his future endeavors," said Janus CEO Gary Black. "Like David, Jonathan is a classic growth investor who pays close attention to fundamental analysis and building a well-diversified portfolio. I'm confident that his proven stock-picking acumen and discipline will serve him well in running Janus Fund."

With the departure of so many veteran portfolio managers from Janus over the past year, many young analysts at the firm have since been promoted.

Brian Demain, for instance, is now running the $2.1 billion Janus Enterprise Fund, John Eisinger is now overseeing the $4.6 billion Janus Orion Fund, Andy Acker is managing the $870 million Janus Global Life Sciences Fund, and Brian Schaub and Chad Meade are jointly watching over the $131 million Janus Triton Fund.
