Franklin Templeton announces portfolio management change

Franklin Templeton Group announced that it has realigned the portfolio management responsibilities of three closed-end funds: Templeton Emerging Markets Income Fund, Templeton Global Governments Income Trust and Templeton Global Income Fund.

Each of the three funds will now be managed by a team of Templeton Global Bond Managers. The realignment is the result of the departure of Neil S. Devlin, who was executive vice president and chief investment officer of Templeton Global Bond Managers, a division of Templeton Investment Counsel.
