West Hills Institutional, a subsidiary of West Hills Asset Management of Chicago, has hired Brian S. Hale as vice president of marketing. Hale formerly worked for Charles Schwab & Co. as an account manager handling institutional clients.
Litman/Gregory of Orinda, Calif. has hired Stephen Savage as editor and publisher of the No-Load Fund Analyst, a newsletter. Savage had been executive director of the mutual fund research division at Value Line of New York.
Elka Stokar last month became director of client services for Nvest Retirement Services of Boston. In her new position, Stokar is responsible for managing client services and investment product support for defined contribution and variable annuity providers. Stoker was previously with Fidelity Investments of Boston for 14 years. Her most recent position was product manager for investment consulting services for Fidelity Institutional Retirement Services Company.`
