Ruth Burgess has been named senior vice president and chief compliance officer at INVEST Financial Corp. and Investment Centers of America, a third-party mutual fund marketing firm based in Tampa, Fla. Burgess was previously vice president and director of compliance at Firstar Investment Services of Milwaukee, Wis.
John A. Register has joined Delaware Distributors of Philadelphia, the distribution arm of Delaware Investments, as vice president and regional consultant for the southeastern U.S. Register will be responsible for marketing the firm's mutual funds, variable annuities and retirement plans. Register was previously at Bank of America Investments of San Francisco.
