Janus’ Chief Marketing Officer to Leave in April

Stuart Novek, Janus’ chief marketing officer and head of retail marketing has said that Apr. 5 will be his last day with the firm. Novek’s resignation was "simply a personal choice that he’s made," said Janus spokeswoman Shelly Peterson, who said Novek has no plans to go to another firm.

Robin Beery, Janus’ VP of retail marketing, will replace Novek, effective Apr. 5. Peterson said the firm expects a "seamless transition" because Berry has worked closely with Novek during the past six years.

Novek’s resignation and Berry’s promotion were announced internally to Janus employees in mid-February by Mark Whiston, president of the firm’s retail and institutional businesses. Janus typically does not make formal announcements or release statements about personnel changes, and the firm will not in this case, Peterson said.
