Kevin M. Keefe has joined the New York City-based Advisor Group as senior vice president of product development and investment research. Keefe was a senior vice president at LPL, where he worked in investment research, financial planning, sponsor relations and wealth management.
Edward Mora, CFP, has been appointed chairman of the Disciplinary and Ethics Commission. That group enforces the Standards of Professional Conduct at the CFP Board of Standards. The CFP Board has also appointed Charles A. Moran as board chair. He will boost education and awareness of the CFP mark, and helpshape regulatory debate.
JHS Capital Advisors has added Frederick J. Vetter as chief compliance officer. Vetter had been vice president of compliance and CCO of Dewaay Financial Network, an independent broker-dealer.
Rob Alan and Keith Thomas have both been promoted at Putnam Investments. Alan is now consultant relations manager, North America, East region. Thomas now serves as head of European consultant relations and as international account manager. Alan previously worked in consultant relations at Babson Capital Management and Fidelity Management Trust Co. Thomas previously held senior positions with Resolution Asset Management, Baring Asset Management and William M. Mercer.
