State Street Appoints New President

State Street Corp. has named Ronald Logue its new president, the company said today. Logue currently serves as the firm’s vice chairman, COO and director and will continue in those duties after he assumes the new post.

Logue joined State Street in 1990 as head of the mutual fund custody business. He was tapped in 1997 to lead the firm’s international asset servicing operations. He was named vice chairman and chief operating officer and elected to State Street's board of directors May of last year.

In addition, Logue is a director of Boston Financial Data Services, which is a jointly-owned subsidiary of State Street and DST Systems.

State Street, an investment management, research and trading services firm with offices throughout the world, has $5.8 trillion in assets under custody and $663 billion in assets under management.
