Andrew Spark

Assistant Attorney General

Andrew Spark has served an Assistant Attorney General in the Division of Economic Crimes of the Florida Attorney General's Office for seven years, prior to which he was in private practice for more than 10 years. His current practice with the Attorney General's Office almost entirely consists of handling consumer matters, including collection practices matters, and he has significant experience as an attorney collecting debts as well as providing compliance advice to debt collectors.He is a cum laude graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with a major in Finance, an honors graduate of the University of Florida College of Law, and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey as well as Florida. He is a member of the National Association of Attorneys General Debt Collection Working Group, has served as Vice Chair of the Consumer Protection Law Committee of The Florida Bar in 2001-2002, has made numerous presentations on Fair Debt Collection and other collections practices issues, and has made several televised appearances as a legal commentator, including on MSNBC.
