Brad Smith

Mr. Smith has spent the last 20+ years helping community and regional financial institutions achieve their business goals by integrating strategy with sales, marketing, operations and technology execution. Before joining Cornerstone Advisors, Brad co-founded Abound Resources in 1997 and helped Abound grow to become the leading advisory firm for small to mid-sized financial institutions with more than 500 clients in 48 states. Prior to Abound Resources, Brad led the community bank technology consulting practice for Deloitte & Touche and consulted with financial institutions all over the country.�As a bank consultant, he facilitates strategic planning retreats, assists in process improvement initiatives, consults on a wide range of technology strategies, vendor issues�including contract negotiations and vendor management, and oversees information security assessments. Brad also is an advisor to several industry trade associations, an instructor at several banking schools, and is a frequent speaker at state and national conventions.Brad is a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in finance and a minor concentration in accounting.
