Glenn Vician

Glenn S. Vician is the President and Chief Compliance Officer of American Acceptance Co., LLC, a privately-held debt buying company in the state of Indiana. American Acceptance was founded by him in 1998, and during the past 15 years has purchased numerous portfolios of consumer debts regarding accounts in Indiana and Illinois. He has been a continuous member of DBA International (and the Debt Buyers Association) since 1998, and in 2013 became the first individual to earn DBA Certification both as an individual and on behalf of his debt buying company. Mr. Vician is also a senior partner in the law firm of Bowman Heintz Boscia & Vician, P.C., which is one of the largest creditors rights law firms, with collection operations in Indiana and Illinois. He graduated from Valparaiso University, earning a B.A. Degree in 1975, with scholastic honors, and a J.D. Degree in 1977. Glenn has been a speaker at several Continuing Legal Education Programs, speaking on various topics related to Creditors Rights and the FDCPA, and has published related articles. Mr. Vician has also been very active during the past two years with DBA International related to the DBA Certification process and with regard to CFPB and FTC compliance issues. Glenn was appointed by the DBA Board of Directors to the DBA Certification Task Force in April, 2012, and also served on the Standards Subcommittee and the Education Subcommittee of the Task Force. In 2013, he was appointed as a Member of the DBA Certification Council and was further appointed as Chairman of the DBA Remediation Committee. He also continues to be active as a Board Member of various Foundation and Educational Institutions.
