Susquehanna Bank Names Head of Brokerage Program

Susquehanna Bank has appointed an executive to lead the bank’s brokerage program.

Brent Smith joined Susquehanna 18 months ago and served most recently as vice president and head of special projects supporting the executive team, a spokesman said in an email.

“The position is a new role unifying leadership under one position,” the spokesman said. Until Smith’s appointment, the brokerage program was managed by two sales managers.

Smith, who is based in King of Prussia, Pa., has eight years of experience in the financial services industry.

The brokerage program employs 25 financial consultants who cover branches in Susquehanna’s four-state footprint in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and West Virginia.
