Pete Storer

Information Lead Architect

Pete Storer has worked in data and information management for more than 25 years. For the past two years, he has been the Lead Architect for the Information Management division of BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina. In this role, he is responsible for defining and overseeing the organization’s overall strategy with respect to integrating and using information across systems. Prior to joining BCBSNC, Mr. Storer was a consultant for approximately 14 years, working with primarily Fortune 100 customers to help determine and implement a variety of information management strategies and initiatives. Mr. Storer has a BA from the University of Rochester and what he describes as “about 2/3 of an MBA” from New York University’s Stern School of Business. During this time of year, you will find him on the ski slopes; he has been a member of National Ski Patrol for 10 years.
