Flexible End-to-End Accounting Solution
At the core of our solution is our flexible and scalable real-time accounting system, which promotes rapid adoption, reduces operation risk and keeps pace with regulatory change. It is designed to provide a seamless flow between global custody, cash and accounting information, and indepth reporting. Our solution offers a highly automated end-to-end process that helps mitigate risk and allows for integrated processing of complex relationships, including but not limited to the following:
• Multi-class fund
• Enhanced multi-manager
• Master feeder
• Fund of funds
• Pooled funds

Multiple Accounting Methodologies
We provide a transparent global view across accounting bases, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and many local accounting standards and their associated tax logic. Multiple sets of investment accounting records using different accounting standards are available and can deliver comparison reports showing detailed cost, income, market and general ledger differences between the accounting bases.

Pricing and Valuation
Our asset pricing capabilities vary from the simple to the complex and illiquid, including derivatives, equities, exchange-traded funds, fixed income, institutional loans, private equity and real estate. Our fund valuation capabilities range from straightforward funds to complicated, multi-level master feeder fund structures.

Customized Reporting
Information is delivered through our client web portal, my.statestreet.com. Interactive tools, dashboards and a comprehensive report library, available in multiple languages, enable quick analysis of data in which delivery can be automated to email, desktop, mobile device or file server with powerful scheduling, customization and delivery options.

Technology and Product Innovation
We have identified key areas for efficiency gains and cost savings by leveraging our suite of front-middle- and back-office capabilities through successful implementation of the following:
• Process Standardization: Standardizing key operational functions through a consolidated, outsourcing initiative to establish uniform processes, helping eliminate process overlap across business lines, while reducing risk and ultimately cost
• Process Centralization: Centralizing functions across the investment lifecycle, helping eliminate redundant processes and duplicate efforts, allowing clients to simplify oversight and execution models, and encourage the use of best practices
• Location Optimization: Establishing follow-the-sun capabilities, with nearly 24/7 coverage in transformative locations and identifying processes to be eliminated in high-cost locations
• Technology and Data Management: Leveraging our front-to-back capabilities and our Alpha technology, data sources, formats and functionality can be standardized to create a single source of the truth, helping eliminate manual efforts and unnecessary reconciliations. Consolidation to our front-to-back platform lets clients remove legacy systems and redundant licensed technology.
