UMB utilizes a real-time, multi-currency custody system that enables our experienced staff to review the status of trades, positions, entitlements, cash/currency balances, history and all other detail related to your investment portfolios.
Our clients have access to real-time, fund-specific information through our user-friendly web portal. Clients can view all their activity, including trades, positions, cash and FX movements. The portal also offers a current-day forecast updated throughout the day and up to 60 days into the future, as well as 24 months of portfolio history and cash/currency balances. Clients can also download their portfolio transaction and asset detail into spreadsheet format.
Our custody platform is integrated with other internal systems, numerous client and vendor platforms/applications, as well as the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and Federal Reserve settlement platforms, where UMB is a direct participant.
In addition, we support automated wire transfer capabilities and files, remote deposit, control disbursement, lockbox services, ARP, ACH, and shareholder check-writing services. Securities lending services are also available.
We are able to integrate with clients’ trading, accounting and shareholder record-keeping systems to support intraday trade files, SWIFT messaging, auto-affirmation routines, position reconcilement, cash forecasting and the automated upload of shareholder activity to your custody portfolio.
Depository integration supports the flow of trades, affirmations, entitlements and other data between UMB and DTCC on a real-time basis.
UMB is also a leader in providing custody services for alternative investment funds. We offer various levels of service in this space, from cash and position recording-keeping to full documentation processing.
