Philip Rowan

International Lead, Project Innovate

Philip Rowan is the international lead at the Financial Conduct Authority’s Project Innovate, which works to promote innovation and competition in financial services to the benefit of consumers through making the regulatory system more innovation-friendly.�Prior to this Philip was a senior economist in the FCA’s Chief Economist's Department, focused primarily on promoting competition in UK financial markets. Philip has also worked at the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor and the UK's Competition and Markets Authority.�Philip holds an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford and studied Economics at the University of Warwick and the Sorbonne in Paris.�
