An ex-Stifel advisor has joined RIA Noyes, the firm said.
Thirty-nine-year-veteran Jim Abraham had been with Sterne Agee, a broker-dealer purchased earlier this year for $150 million by Stifel, before making the move. He was working with $30 million in client assets, a Noyes spokesman said.
Abraham will continue working from his base in Chicago to focus on wealth management and retirement advisory services to Noyes clients. My decision to join Noyes was driven by a series of factors, including the firms tenure, stability, talented management, and outstanding reputation both in the financial services industry and the community, Abraham says.
Abraham began his career in 1975 with Shearson Hayden Stone and moved on to work with Oppenheimer & Co., Dean Witter Reynolds and UBS. He had been with Stifel since 2004.
