Citi Private Bank Expands Advisory Teams in Houston, Washington, D.C.

Citi Private Bank is expanding its ultra-high-net-worth wealth advisory teams in Houston and Washington, D.C.

In Washington, D.C., it named Blair Ege, formerly a senior director at BNY Mellon, director and ultra-high-net-worth private banker. In Houston, it appointed Ryan McCleary, previously with Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management, to the same role.

The new additions bring the total number of private bankers in Washington, D.C. and Houston to 16, a Citi spokesperson said.

At BNY Mellon, Ege was responsible for identifying new relationships for the firm and matching them internally with portfolio manager and credit bankers. Prior to that, she was a managing director at Babson Capital Management, according to Citi Private Bank.

McCleary most recently served as a senior vice president and senior relationship manager at Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management. He was also a member of the firm’s asset allocation committee.

Citi Private Bank provides investing and wealth advice for ultra-high-net-worth clients with more than $25 million in net worth. It is part of Citi’s Institutional Clients Group.
