Former JPMorgan Advisor Joins Fieldpoint

Fieldpoint Private, a Greenwich, Conn., based wealth advisory and private banking firm, announced that Susan Hirshman has joined the firm as a managing director and senior adviser.

She joins Fieldpoint Private's New York City offices from consulting firm SHE Ltd., where she was president, and focused on increasing the financial literacy of women, as well as enhancement of the client-advisor relationship.

"Fieldpoint Private is the kind of firm my clients have been asking for for years," Hirshman said. "It has the agility of a boutique, the capabilities of a giant, and the objectivity of a firm that stubbornly refuses to place any interests ahead of those of its clients."

Hirshman wrote "Does this Make My Assets Look Fat? - A Women's Guide to Finding Financial Empowerment and Success" and regularly speaks at wealth management conferences natioanlly.

Hirshman began her advisory career with American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise), and then moved to KPMG, where she was a senior manager of personal financial planning. Subsequently, she was hired as a managing director in JPMorgan's Private Wealth Mange group, and served as Wealth Strategist within the firm's funds management group, prior to her tenure as president at SHE Ltd.

"She brings a rare combination of credentials to Fieldpoint Private," said Robert S. Matthews, Fieldpoint Private President and CEO. "Susan has broken new ground in financial advice for women, and her deep and diverse professional education has equipped her well to advise on even the most complex, interconnected needs of wealthy women and families."
