David R. Tremblay

Business Development & Strategy Executive, Client Development Group

David Tremblay is the business development and strategy executive for the Client Development Group (CDG) within Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. The Client Development Group is a nationwide organization responsible for the relationship management of more than 200,000 business clients served by a team of dedicated, telephone-based client managers. This non-traditional relationship model has proven to maximize our client coverage resources and leverage the bank’s Client Management Process to achieve client satisfaction. Tremblay has 23 years of financial services experience. Most recently, he was a regional market executive with CDG, a position he held since 2010. After joining Bank of America with the 2004 merger of FleetBoston Financial, he led the implementation and successful national deployment of the CDG business model. During his tenure with FleetBoston Financial, he was senior vice president and regional banking group administrator. The Regional Banking Group provided financial services to companies with annual revenues between $1 million and $10 million. Tremblay’s responsibilities included profitability management & planning, sales & measurement reporting, incentive plan management & reporting, and technical project management. During the FleetBoston merger, Tremblay was a member of the core leadership team responsible for integrating the Regional Banking Group into Bank of America’s Global Commercial Banking line of business. Throughout his financial services career, Tremblay has held various positions at the bank, working with business clients as well as within government regulatory agencies.A native of Massachusetts, Tremblay earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Babson College in 1986. He resides in Westfield, MA.
