Jeff Fincher has over twenty five years of leadership experience in the financial services industry.� Jeff joined Visa Inc In June of 2012 and leads the Business Development efforts for the Partnership Development division. Prior to joining Visa in June,, Jeff held senior level positions at MBNA America and Bank of America.Jeff began his career at Illinois National Bank and later moved to Marine Bankcard Corporation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he managed an agent bank credit card business with over 250 financial institutions in a six state region. In 1989 Jeff joined Maryland Bank NA and was one of the original members of the management team that formed the Financial Institutions Division.Jeff led the Corporate Development and Acquisitions group at MBNA for over ten years and is widely regarded as a key contributor to the rapid growth of MBNA. Jeff completed over 180 unique transactions and managed all phases of the acquisitions process including valuation, due diligence, contract negotiation and platform conversion.Following the completion of the merger between MBNA America and Bank of America in 2005, Jeff expanded his responsibility as the Business Development Executive for the combined credit card business and managed a multi-functional group that included National Sales, Partnership Renewals, Portfolio Acquisitions/Divestitures and Secondary Lending.In 2010 as the payments industry was facing unprecedented regulatory change Jeff joined the Payment Network Center of Excellence at Bank of America, serving as the senior relationship executive for global network partners Jeff developed the strategies to both optimize the value exchange between Bank of America and the payment networks, and ensure compliance with the provisions of the Durbin Amendment.�Jeff has served on the Bank of America Card Services Credit Risk Committee and the MBNA Senior Operating Committee. He has been called as an expert witness in credit card litigation in the United States and Canada and has advised on joint venture opportunities in Spain and Mexico.
