John J. Jablonski devotes his practice to solving complex, high-risk problems that arise from the intersection of law and technology. With more than 20 years of litigation experience (including trials to verdict and appeals), he leverages courtroom experiences to provide corporate clients with practical risk-avoidance advice, strategies, and solutions. He has significant experience in matters involving security, technology, information governance, transportation, environmental law, and product liability.John has a rare ability to translate complex legal, technology, security, and information governance issues into plain English and workable counsel. He guides clients through every aspect of data loss response and related litigation, regulatory compliance, risk analysis, and classification; large loss portfolio analysis in support of due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and creation of alternative fee structures for legal services; and data preservation and e-discovery issues.A widely recognized authority on the protection and preservation of data, John is a frequent presenter and author on privacy and data security, electronic discovery, electronic evidence investigation and preservation, best practices for corporate legal hold guidelines, and implementation of legal holds. He is a member of the editorial advisory board of Law Technology News, a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, a past President of his local ARMA International chapter, and co-author of the book Seven Steps for Legal Holds of ESI and Other Documents. John is recognized in The Best Lawyers of America and Super Lawyers, among other honors.
