Naomi Richman

Naomi Richman is a Managing Director in Moody's Public Finance Group responsible for credit ratings in three areas: Housing Finance, Municipal Supported Products, and Local Governments in the Northeastern US. She is a member (and former Chair) of Moody's Public Sector Credit Committee which approves ratings methodologies and policies for global public sector ratings.Naomi has over 25 years of experience in public sector credit analysis at Moody's. From March 2009 through August 2010 she was a Senior Vice President and Team Leader of Moody's Sovereign Risk Group, with global responsibility for MOody's ratings of sovereign governments. She previously held positions as Chief Credit Officer for global public finance, and as Manager of Moody's Higher Education, Bond Insurance and Housing Finance teams.Before joining Moody's, Naomi spent four years with the New York City Department of Finance. Naomi holds and AB degree from Bryn Mawr College and a Master of Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
