Partner Randolph J. Mayer practices in the New York office. Mr. Mayer focuses his practice on public and municipal finance. Mr. Mayer has significant experience serving as bond counsel, underwriters' counsel and disclosure counsel to municipalities and public benefit corporations. He has represented municipal clients in securities law matters involving administrative agencies. He has also assisted in municipal development and redevelopment projects, including urban renewal projects, and has negotiated solid waste disposal service contracts and leases for municipalities. He has done work for authorities, agencies, cities, counties and towns throughout the State of New York. Mr. Mayer leads the firm's work as bond counsel for tax matters for The City of New York and the New York City Transitional Finance Authority. He has served as disclosure counsel to The City of New York and as underwriters' counsel in New York City Municipal Water Finance Authority transactions. His clients have included water and sewer authorities, housing authorities, urban renewal agencies, community development agencies and industrial development agencies. Mr. Mayer has spoken at conferences and seminars sponsored by various groups, including the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the New York State Association of Counties, the New York State Association of Towns, the New York State Government Finance Officers Association, and the Bond Buyer Conference on Municipal Finance. Mr. Mayer has also participated as a panelist at the Bond Attorneys' Workshop.
