Randy Slovin

Randy T. Slovin is a partner in the Cincinnati based law firm of Slovin & Associates Co., LPA. He has over 25 years of experience in representing creditors, collection agencies, medical providers, credit card providers, and other lenders. His practice is concentrated in the areas of collections, consumer and commercial litigation, bankruptcy, landlord-tenant matters, and compliance with both federal and state consumer credit and collection laws. Randy is a certified practitioner in creditors’ rights law by the American Board of Certification. Further, Randy recently served as chair of the Commercial Law League of America’s (“CLLA”) committee on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, was co-chair of their Government Affairs Committee, and is a past chair of the CLLA’s Midwest Region. He is a member of the CLLA, the American Collectors Association, the Debt Buyers Association, and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys. Randy has been a frequent speaker and panelist before these organizations and numerous others, on topics relating to creditor’s rights, collections, and bankruptcy. He has also served as an expert witness in cases concerning alleged violations of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Randy is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Kentucky, as well as in numerous federal courts in both states, including the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
