2 Big Producers Jump to Raymond James
Advisors with more than $2 million in combined annual revenue joined Raymond James & Associates, a spokesperson said.
Michael R. Hostick II moved to Raymond James from Oppenheimer & Co., where he generated annual revenues of about $930,000. Hostick and Michael Charles, senior investment management specialist, joined Raymond James in Austin, Texas.
Hostick had been at Oppenheimer since 2010, according to FINRA records. Previously, he worked at Southwest Securities.
The St. Petersburg, Fla.-based firm also announced the addition of a father-son team, John and Darren James, from Wells Fargo. The two advisors generated $1.25 million in annual revenues while at the wirehouse.
They joined Raymond James in Sugar Land, Texas, a suburb of Houston.
The elder James has 34 years of experience in the industry, according to FINRA records. He started at Rotan Mosle in 1981, and moved to A.G. Edwards in 1989. The younger James joined him at the firm in 2003. They stayed with A.G. Edwards through its merger with Wells Fargo.
