Tammy Butts is a divisional executive vice president and branch manager for AXA Advisors, LLC in Chicago, Illinois. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, she began her career in banking. In 2001, she transitioned to insurance and investments, taking a position as a financial professional for AXA Advisors in Chicago. \n\nAs a financial professional, Tammy built a successful practice providing financial planning strategies and guidance to families and business owners. In 2005, she was promoted to divisional vice president and district manager for the branch. In that role, she hired and developed a successful, diverse team of financial professionals to work out of the branch. Recognized for her success, she received several management awards including the National Builders Trophy honoring her district for ranking seventh nationwide in sales and recruiting. \n\nIn January 2009, Tammy was promoted to divisional executive vice president of for AXA Advisors, given the responsibility of co-managing the Illinois branch of 300 financial professionals and staff. Susan M. Nash is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firms Chicago office. As a member of the Firms Employee Benefits Department, her practice focuses primarily in the area of health and welfare benefit plans, including compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code.\n\nShe has represented a wide variety of clients in negotiations with the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor, the Department of Health and Human Services and in contracting with HMOs and third-party vendors for welfare plans. She also has extensive experience working with employers, vendors and health plans to design and implement a variety of health and welfare plans, with a focus on medical, prescription drug, dental disability and cafeteria plans; and consumer-directed health plans, such as health reimbursement arrangements and health savings accounts. \n\nSusan is chair of the McDermott Will & Emery Welfare Benefit Plan Practice Group and a member of the Firms Consumer Directed Health Care Practice Group. Susan is also a member of McDermotts HIPAA task force and has counseled a wide variety of group health plans on compliance with HIPAA's privacy, portability and nondiscrimination requirements.\n\nWhile attending law school, Susan served as a legal editor. Susan is a member of the Chicago Bar Association Employee Benefits Committee and the Employee Benefits Committee of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association.
