GoHealth General Manager of Agent Services\nMichael Owens is responsible for the development of GoHealths Virtual Marketing Organization, a national network of top insurance agents that connects consumers with local agents. \nOwens has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance, health care and financial industries. Prior to joining GoHealth, he was President of Americas Health Care Plan in Dallas, Texas and Vice President of Development for Insurance Capital Management, Inc. He has also held V.P. positions at Network Medical Review Company, Ltd. in Rockford, IL and the Ceres Group, Inc. in Cleveland.\nOwens serves on the board for a 501(c) (3) organization devoted to children and adults with disabilities and donates time to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation. Owens grew up in Chicago. He received an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Michael J. McLafferty is a leader in the Health Care Services Group. He has over 20 years of experience in the health care field providing business services to multi-hospital systems, pharmaceutical firms, surgery centers and physician practices. Michael has assisted numerous health care organizations with turnaround services; mergers and acquisitions; evaluation and improvement of operations; revenue enhancement; chart and coding evaluations; revenue enhancement strategies and implementation; contract negotiations; regulatory and compliance issues; and health care litigation.\nIn addition, he has developed business plans and financial forecasts, provided interim management services, performed operational and financial assessments and benchmarking analysis for numerous health care organizations. Michael has extensive relationships within the health care field and is often requested as a speaker before professional organizations. Michael earned his Executive M.B.A. from Rutgers University. He is active in numerous associations, including the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
