It has been said that, "When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece." Those words fittingly describe Faust-Boyer Group Senior Vice President Lynn Faust. A 30-year veteran of the financial planning industry, Lynn exudes a love for her work, her clients and her team. And her level of skill is evident in her numerous awards and accomplishments.\n The Faust-Boyer Group of Raymond James is the realization of a dream that began 30 years ago when Lynn, a former educator, started a new career in financial planning. Understanding that a one-size-fits-all approach is not a financial services solution, Lynn’s dream was to create a highly knowledgeable team to develop, monitor and service comprehensive, customized financial plans to meet individual needs and goals.\n An award-winning advisor specializing in asset allocation, Lynn was the first female branch manager for Raymond James, the first woman to serve on the Raymond James Executive Council, has achieved membership in the Raymond James & Associates Chairman’s Council every year since 1989, and is a certified Raymond James Investment Management Consultant.\n In 2010 and 2011, Barron’s named Lynn to its Top 1,000 Advisors list and ranked her fifth on the list of Top Advisors in South Carolina for 2011. Additionally, Lynn was named the 2010 Woman of Distinction for the Atlantic Division of Raymond James & Associates for her outstanding community contributions as the volunteer coordinator for the annual BI-LO Charity Golf Classic. Also in 2010, The Faust-Boyer Group received the Business Integrity Award for Community Service from the Better Business Bureau of upstate South Carolina.\n Lynn believes that education is the key to success. Armed with an education degree from North Carolina’s Guilford College, Lynn moved to Guam fresh out of school where she taught elementary grades for three years. "That was a life-changing event for me," she says. "I was challenged to effectively teach those who were at different knowledge levels and I developed a real passion for doing so." Ever the educator, Lynn continuously studies financial products and trends to keep her clients abreast of market changes.\n A recognized community leader, Lynn serves as a board member of United Way’s Women Leadership Initiative, as treasurer of the Greenville Technical College Foundation, and as vice president for BI-LO Charities, where she directs more than 700 volunteers for the annual BI-LO Charity Classic golf tournament.\n
