Eric Johnson is the Director of Education for Health Partners, a broker support organization that provides agents with the tools, training and technology to help businesses deliver quality health coverage using affordable solutions. In this role, he spends much of his time studying the health reform legislation and translating it into terms everyone can understand.\nA recognized leader in the health insurance industry, Eric is a past president of the Fort Worth Association of Health Underwriters and regular contributor to a number of industry publications. He is also a two-time recipient of the National Association of Health Underwriters’ William G. Wetzel Award for Excellence in Public Speaking and a national instructor for NAHU’s Consumer Directed Health Care certification course.\nA Texas native, Eric was born and raised in Houston, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, and currently lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.\n

As a representative for The Options Industry Council and serving as Director, Financial Advisor Education, Eric Cott endeavors to help advisors and their firms to use options more effectively. Mr. Cott is responsible for expanding OICs outreach to financial advisors. Additionally, he participates in conference panel discussions, presents advisor-oriented educational seminars, and guides the development of options curriculum and content for the OIC Advisor web site. Over the last 16 years, Mr. Cott has supported, served as and directed financial advisors through different roles. Most recently he was a Regional Vice President and Retirement Income Consultant at Sunlife Financial Distributors Inc. where he identified and cultivated new business, increasing assets and revenue share. Prior to that, Mr. Cott spent the majority of his investment career as a Producing Manager and Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc. There he built and maintained a successful wealth management practice.Mr. Cott holds a BA from University of Wisconsin Madison and the CRPC designation from the College of Financial Planning.

Ellen is a Senior Philanthropic Advisor in the Philanthropic Management group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. As such, she works exclusively with individuals and their private foundations to deliver strategic planning around charitable objectives, provide education on best practices and increasing social return, design mission statements, create grant strategies, and examine succession plan and next generation issues to help clients build and sustain their philanthropic missions. Among Ellens many philanthropic endeavors, she on the board of the Womens Foundation of California Los Angeles and Foundation for California Community Colleges and is a partner with Los Angeles Social Venture Partners.

Siegel & Associates, a fee-based financial planning firm in Miami, FL. She has been a financial planner and a financial educator for over three decades.\nEllen has taught at the University of Miami Continuing Studies, Nova Southeastern University, and the American College. She served on the committee creating the credentialing exam for the CFP® designation, as well as the job analysis task force for the national Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.\nEllen holds a Masters degree in Social Psychology from Goddard College. She is a FINRA licensed registered representative with LPL Financial, LLC, and is a Florida licensed life, health, and variable annuity insurance agent. \nShe sings in the Temple Beth Or choir and serves on the board of the South Florida National Park Trust. She is a past board member of the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida, the Miami Financial Planning Association, the Miami Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Miami Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. She is a founding member of the Miami Women in Insurance and Financial Services.\nAn enthusiastic outdoors lover, she is an active volunteer park ranger in Everglades National Park, leading canoe and hiking adventures for adults and children. At home, she enjoys entertaining friends, having fun with her menagerie, and reading Grisham novels. \n

Elizabeth Moss began her career in financial services in 1983. She became the Investment and Annuity Specialist in 1994 in the Mass Mutual agency in San Antonio, Texas and has continued in this specialist role at the Mass Mutual agency in Chicago since 2002. Elizabeth maintains a personal practice, focusing on retirement income and distribution planning. She served for four years as the chairperson of the Investment Specialist Committee, a specialist advisory group consulting with MML Investors Services, Inc. She serves on the advisory board for Morningstar Investment Services and has served for the Institute of Business and Finance. She has also consulted on portfolio design with Morningstar Managed Portfolios and Standard and Poors Portfolio Advisor Express.
