  • Dr. Burton G. Malkiel is the Chairman of the Index Committee of AlphaShares, LLC and is the Chemical Bank Chairman’s Professor of Economics at Princeton University. He is the author of the investment classic, A Random Walk Down Wall Street, and more recently, From Wall Street to the Great Wall. He has long held professorships in economics at Princeton, where he was also Chairman of the Economics Department. He was Dean of the Yale School of Management and also the William S. Beinecke Professor of Management Studies at Yale. He has also served as a member of the Council of Economic Advisors under the administration of U.S. President Gerald R. Ford. He serves on the boards of directors of The Vanguard Group Ltd., Genmab A\/S and Theravance, Inc. \nHe is the Chairman of the New Products Committee of the American Stock Exchange and has served as Chairman of the Investment Committee of Prudential Financial and Chairman of the Pension Fund Committee of Southern New England Telecommunications. He received his B.A. degree in Economics from Harvard University, a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a doctorate in Economics and Finance from Princeton University.   • Bruno del Ama is the co-founder and CEO of New York based asset manager Global X Funds. The company is dedicated to developing innovative Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) focused on global markets. Global X Funds was recently ranked as the fastest growing family of exchange traded funds. Previously, Mr. del Ama served as head of operations in the structured products business at Radian Asset Assurance. Prior to that, he was a senior consultant at Oliver Wyman advising leading financial services firms in a range of strategy matters. Mr. del Ama, a CFA charter holder, received his MBA from the Wharton Business School.

  • Bruce Sherman, MD, FCCP, FACOEM, serves as the Medical Director, Population Health Management for the RightOpt private exchange offering for Buck Consultants at Xerox. In this role, he provides strategic guidance for development, implementation and ongoing management of integrated, value-based health and performance management strategies for exchange employer clients. Additionally, Dr. Sherman is the Medical Director for the Ohio-based Employers Health Coalition, Inc., where he provides health management strategies to the organization’s members, and provides strategic guidance for the coalition’s data warehouse program. Previously he was the consulting corporate medical director for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Whirlpool Corporation, and The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Dr. Sherman has particular interests in the areas of the business value of health and evaluation of quality and efficiency in health care delivery. \nDr. Sherman is a member of the leadership board for the Integrated Benefits Institute, and also has committee leadership roles with the National Committee for Quality Assurance, and Population Health Alliance.  A speaker at both local and national levels, he has presented workforce health and performance management strategies to diverse audiences, and has published numerous related articles. Dr. Sherman received his MD from New York University School of Medicine, his MA from Harvard University and his bachelor's degree from Brown University. He is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Sherman continues as a member of the clinical faculty in the Department of Medicine at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Prior to his current role at SourceMedia, Bruce was COO of Louise Blouin Media (LBM) where he was responsible for the day to day operations of LBM’s magazine, book and online media and data businesses, including such brands as Art Auction and ARTINFO. Prior to LBM he was SVP and General Manager of Jupiter Online Media, where he oversaw operations of over 150 websites over four online networks, including internet.com and Mediabistro. \nMany of Bruce’s demonstrated accomplishments in online, print, live event product development and international business stem from his 14 years at Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters)\/SourceMedia. Bruce joined Thomson in 1992 as EVP of Securities Data Publishing and was named its President\/CEO in 1995. When he left in 2006, he was the President of its SourceMedia Banking Group. Prior to Thomson, Bruce’s early career spent time with Lebhar Friedman, Fairchild Publications (now a part of Conde Nast) and Investment Dealers Digest, Inc. \nBruce received his BS in marketing from the Pennsylvania State University and has attended post graduate executive management and business development training at the Johnson School at Cornell University and INSEAD Fontainebleau, France.
