Advisors Weigh in on Obama's ‘MyRA’

President Obama announced a plan for new government-sponsored savings accounts during his State of the Union Address on Tuesday.

The "myRA" accounts are similar to an individual retirement account but will be available to workers who don't have access to a 401(k) plan. These accounts will provide a new way for working Americans to start their own retirement saving, according to the Obama administration.

After Obama's address, a number of advisors took to Twitter to discuss the "MyRA" accounts.
