Fidelity Courts Advisers with New Tools

Fidelity Institutional Investments Brokerage Group -- the Fidelity arm that services registered investment advisers and broker/dealers -- yesterday introduced practice management applications for advisers through a new platform called PracticeAdvantage, which provides planners with more ways to build their businesses by offering marketing tools and other client services.

To begin with, advisers can increase their marketing campaigns through PracticeMark, an online program that creates customizable materials such as newsletters, Web sites, brochures and advertisements.

Planners can access PracticeAdvantage by logging on to Fidelity’s AdvisorCHANNEL.com .

Additionally, planners who use PracticeAdvantage are automatically added to Advisor Access -- a lead-generating program that matches investors with qualified local advisers -- and can avail themselves of investment research information through Fidelity’s partnerships with Lehman Brothers , Morningstar and Vestigo Associates, Fidelity’s research division.
Fidelity has also created several alliances to promote business-related services for both planners and their clients, such as discounted insurance and compliance products through partnerships with Columbia Casualty Company and National Regulatory Services.
