GE Unveils New Managed Account Program

GE Private Asset Management, GE Financial’s managed account provider, has announced the GE Multiple Strategy Portfolios program. It consists of seven new separately managed account investment managers, as well as expanded roles for two of GE’s existing SMA managers. With the rollout of the Multiple Strategy Portfolios program, GE’s SMA program includes 19 investment managers representing a wide spectrum of asset classes and styles.

"Having these managers join our separate account platform is gratifying, because otherwise, many of them would not be available to separate account investors," said Rob Brown, managing director of investment strategies for GE Private Asset Management. "Several of these investment organizations have chosen to work exclusively with GE in this space, which speaks to our reputation and regard among separate account holders."

The investment managers and their areas of expertise are as follows:

AEW Capital Management, (real estate securities)

Analytic Investors, Inc. (ultra high current dividend yield)

Clay Finlay, Inc. (emerging markets)

Connecticut Investment Management, Inc. (large cap growth)

Federated Investment Counseling (large cap value)

GE Asset Management (international core)

Lotsoff Capital Management (small cap core)

Marvin & Palmer Associates, Inc. (international growth)

Thomas Weisel Asset Management (International value)
