Rydex Investments this week launched 11 new funds spanning market capitalizations and investment styles, ranging from small to large cap, value to growth.

In addition, Rydex is offering two funds that will seek the inverse performance of mid-caps and small-caps, as well as two leveraged funds tied to the Dow 30. These are the Rydex Long Dynamic Dow 30 and the Rydex Inverse Dynamic Dow 30, which are designed to achieve 200% of the daily return of the index. These funds will be priced twice daily.

"The Dynamic Dow funds were designed for investors who prefer the ease and simplicity of a price-weighted approach to investing, coupled with the ability to leverage their convictions on the index’s direction," said Mike Byrum, chief investment officer of Rydex. He called the funds a "natural expansion" to our lineup of index funds, for which Rydex is well known.
