Scudder Micro Cap Fund reopens to new investors

Scudder announced that its Scudder Micro Cap Fund reopened to new investors Nov. 6. The fund had been closed to new investors as of Sept. 22, 1997, after assets reached $100 million. The fund was reopened because its managers felt that there are "many attractive opportunities available" in the micro cap category, according to a statement. Scudder intends to close the fund again to new investors when total net assets surpass $150 million.
