State Street Corporation unveiled the State Street Fund Insights Valuation Toolkit to provide timely industry insights for fund managers and directors and help them better manage data.

The Valuation Toolkit is marketed as a tool that lets asset managers and fund directors benchmark prices, observe trends over time, understand factors that cause prices to diverge and obtain data for board-level reporting. It also allows users to view consolidated pricing data for all their holdings, or isolate manually priced activity.

“With growing awareness of the complexities and pitfalls in the valuation process, we recognized an opportunity to aggregate industry data and insights and deliver it to our clients in a value-added format,” stated Gunjan Kedia, executive vice president in State Street’s Investment Services division.

“In this environment of heightened regulatory oversight, asset managers are seeking tools to help perform critical control activities. We are committed to introducing additional solutions that will address these challenges.”
