U.S. Global Investors Added to Schwab's Select List

Two of U.S. Global Investors' funds made it to Schwab's Mutual Fund OneSource Select List. The investment adviser's Eastern European Fund and Global Resources Fund joined its World Precious Minerals Fund, which is one of two funds in the Select List's Precious Metals Funds category.

For inclusion in the Mutual Fund Select List, funds are assessed on risk, performance, expenses, style consistency and diversification. Schwab's Center for Investment Research creates the Mutual Fund Select List and sometimes considers additional qualitative factors when making a final evaluation. Schwab produces the Mutual Fund Select List quarterly to help investors in analyze and identify funds that may fit their portfolio needs.

The Global Resources Fund was listed as one of two funds in the Selects List's Natural Resource Funds category and the Eastern European Fund was one of 19 funds listed in the Select List's International Stock Funds category.
