Carol Polumbo, the firm's managing partner in its Austin office, joined the firm in September 1990 and became a partner in January 1993. Carol received her BA degree from The University of Texas at Austin, her MA, summa cum laude, from The University of Texas at Tyler and her law degree, summa cum laude, from South Texas College of Law in Houston where she graduated first in her class, served as Executive Editor of the Law Review and was awarded the Alumni Association Award for the best article submitted to the Law Review and the E. E. Townes Memorial Award for the best article in the area of constitutional law. Carol has practiced law in the area of public finance since 1985. Prior to joining the firm, Carol served as Assistant Chief of the Public Finance Section of the Texas Attorney General's Office. During her three-year tenure in the Attorney General's Office Carol was responsible for reviewing and approving all types of governmental obligations issued in the State as well as serving as counsel for several state agencies responsible for issuing bonds. Prior to her tenure in the Attorney General's Office, Carol was employed as an associate attorney, specializing in the area of public finance, with a major Houston law firm. Carol has served as bond counsel to various types of governmental entities. Carol serves as lead attorney in connection with the firm's representation of the Texas Department of Transportation, Texas State University System, Williamson County, and the Cities of Bastrop, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Killeen, Round Rock, San Marcos and Temple. Carol also serves as bond counsel in connection with over seventy special development districts in the Central Texas area including road districts, water districts, regional authorities and management districts.

Bryan Baebler is Head of Capital Markets, responsible for primary and secondary markets business. He joined BAM in April 2013 from Barclays, where he was a Vice President on the Municipal Primary Syndicate Desk for three years. Prior to that, he was a Short-Term Municipal Securities Trader at Barclays/Lehman Brothers and before that a Municipal Securities Trader in the Fixed Income Group at Vanguard Group. Bryan earned his B.S. in Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

Dr. Lacy H. Hunt, an internationally known economist, is Executive Vice President of Hoisington Investment Management Company, a firm that manages over $5 billion for pension funds, endowments, insurance companies and others.Lacy Hunt is the author of two books, and numerous articles in leading magazines, periodicals and scholarly journals.� Included among the publishers of his articles are. Barron�s, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor, the Journal of Finance, the Financial Analysts Journal and the Journal of Portfolio Management.Previously, he was Chief U.S. Economist for the HSBC Group, one of the world�s largest banks, Executive Vice President and Chief Economist at Fidelity Bank and Vice President for Monetary Economics at Chase Econometrics Associates, Inc.� A native of Texas, Dr. Hunt has served as Senior Economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.�He earned his BA from Sewanee: the University of the South (1964), his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (1966), and his Ph.D. in Economics from the Fox School of Business and Management of Temple University (1969).� In 2013, Sewanee awarded him the Honorary Doctorate of Civil Laws.Dr. Hunt served on the Board of Trustees of Temple University from 1987 to 2010 and is now an honorary life trustee. He received the Abramson Award from the National Association for Business Economics for �outstanding contributions in the field of business economics.� He is a life member of the American Finance Association.� He was a member of the Economic Advisory Board of the American Bankers Association and Chairman of the Economic Advisory Board of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association.� He served on the Monetary and Fiscal Policy Affairs Committee of the National Chamber of Commerce.

Karl is a member of the Municipal Enterprise Group and has analytical responsibility for healthcare, higher education, and charter school credits throughout the United States, while acting as one of the primary analytical contacts for the southwest region. Before joining Standard & Poor�s in 2007, Karl was a Vice President with Allied Irish Banks for several years with responsibility for establishing business relationships to the healthcare, education, and not-for-profit sectors with a regional focus on the southwest, particularly in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. In addition to business development, Karl was responsible for portfolio oversight and underwriting for accounts under his regional management. Prior to his tenure with Allied Irish Banks, Karl held healthcare banking positions at Comerica Bank, and Rabobank International, as well as business development positions with the Dallas office of Ernst and Young. Karl holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University

Kim has worked in the public finance industry for over twenty-five years. She joined Piper Jaffray & Co.’s Texas Public Finance Group in September 2012, where she provides investment banking services to state agencies, cities, counties, school districts, community colleges, universities and transportation authorities.� Prior to joining Piper Jaffray, Kim established the Texas public finance practice for Fidelity Capital Markets in 2009 and served as the Executive Director of the Texas Public Finance Authority from 1997 to 2008, where she was involved in the issuance and administration of over $5 billion of long-term fixed rate municipal debt and several commercial paper programs.� Kim has also served as the Assistant Executive Director of the Municipal Advisory Council of Texas, where she managed a team of municipal credit analysts and implementation of SEC Rule 15 c 2-12.� Early in her career, she was a financial advisor to state and local governments as a Vice President for Government Finance Group in Arlington, VA., and worked for the Government Finance Officers Association and Price Waterhouse in Washington, D.C. Kim has served on the executive board of the National Association of Treasurer's State Debt Management Network and �the Board of Directors of the Municipal Advisory Council of Texas.� She was one of the founding members of the Texas chapter of Women in Public Finance, serving as the President of the Chapter in 2013-14.Kim holds a B.A. from Rice University, an MBA from the University of Texas, and a Masters of Public Administration from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin.

Bob is the Vice President of Airport Affairs for Southwest Airlines in Dallas, Texas, and is responsible for acquiring and developing all of Southwests� facilities nationwide. Additionally, he is responsible for representing Southwest to all airport operators and City Governments, and works with them to develop Capital and operating budgets and development programs. Bob has been with Southwest since 1977, and has held positions in the Operating and Finance Departments prior to filling the Properties and Facilities and Airport Affairs role. Bob has been responsible for the acquisition, design, and construction of more than 85% of all facilities occupied by Southwest, including all airport space, reservations centers, maintenance hangars, data centers, training centers, headquarters and other facilities. He has also been involved in most of the major airport developement projects occuring in the United States since 1984. He serves on the Oversight Committee for the Airport Cooperative Research Program (the ACRP) at the request of the Secretary of Transportation. The ACRP conducts and publishes research related to various Airport Issues, and Bob is the first Airline representative to sit on the Oversite Committee. Bob holds degrees in Finance from Texas Tech University, and a Masters of Theological Studies from Ave Maria University.
