Alan Jaffa is the chief executive officer for Safeguard Properties, a role he assumed in May of 2010. Previously he served as chief operating officer. Since joining Safeguard in 1995, Alan has learned the business from the ground up, working through virtually every department of the company. This hands-on experience has given him unique insights as a leader to innovate, improve and strengthen Safeguard's processes to assure that the company adheres to the highest standards of quality and customer service. Alan has led Safeguard's initiatives to develop information technology tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery to clients. He takes a team approach to process improvement, involving staff at all levels of the organization to address issues, brainstorm solutions, and identify new and better ways to serve clients. Under Alan's leadership, Safeguard has enjoyed extraordinary growth that has catapulted the company to its current position as the largest privately-held mortgage field services company in the nation. Safeguard has been recognized in Northeast Ohio by the Weatherhead 100 for 15 years. In 2008, Alan was recognized by Crain's Cleveland Business in its annual "40-Under-40" profile of young leaders.

Brian C. Coester is CEO of Coester Appraisal Group, an appraiser-owned appraisal management company that provides full service, end-to-end valuation services for both commercial and residential properties. He is directly responsible for developing and implementing the business strategies that have grown the company from a small, local appraisal company to a high volume appraisal provider in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Brian began his career as a field appraiser, completing roughly 40 appraisal reports per month. His in-depth understanding of the appraisal industry is due in part to the tutelage of his father, who was the sole proprietor and original operator of the company now known as Coester Appraisal Group. Brian has been a speaker, presenter and trainer in the appraisal industry, and has authored numerous articles for the mortgage and real estate press. He is also a former college football player at the University of Tennessee and University of Maryland, College Park where he majored in business administration and economics.

Susan Allen is vice president of Global Valuations for CoreLogic. She is responsible for managing property valuation strategies and solutions in the U.S. and abroad, developing industry leading collateral risk products and consulting with clients to improve lending and servicing decisions.Susan previously served as chief collateral officer for JP Morgan Chase. In this role, she was responsible for generating, purchasing and evaluating property valuations and establishing, monitoring and defending risk policies. She served on committees overseeing operations risk, credit risk and compliance risk, and in 2009, assisted with the integration of WaMus collateral risk operations and policies into JP Morgan Chase.Susan previously held a similar collateral risk position with General Motors Acceptance Corporation, where she tested and deployed AVM and mortgage fraud solutions and managed valuations departments, which included modelers, analysts and valuers. Prior to that, she served as senior risk manager for U.S. Bank, managing credit card fraud, anti-money laundering solutions, deposit account fraud and internet fraud. While at U.S. Bank, she successfully leveraged models, technology and operations to significantly reduce fraud losses and increase approvals.Susan also previously served as a senior consultant for several international financial

Kimberly Dawson joined Bank of America in 1996. The majority of her career has been in default servicing with emphasis on foreclosure, bankruptcy and short sales. In her current role, she is the Short Sale Production Executive (West). As part of this function, she is manages the short sale closing function and is the Fannie Mae short sale product manager. Prior to her current role, Dawson managed strategic initiatives for the Short Sale, Deed in Lieu and Real Estate Owned (REO) processes and managed operations in Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and REO. In her various roles, Dawson has focused on production and process improvement. In Bankruptcy, she implemented the use of technology to proactively search dockets and prevent losses. While in the Foreclosure operation, she spearheaded efforts to improve bidding practices to match marketing environment and established solid relations with Mortgage Insurance (MI) companies. Dawson joined the Short Sale team in 2007 and worked with the team to reinvent the process to meet market demands, including implementation of policies and technology. Dawson graduated from the University of Texas.

With more than two decades of experience as an attorney within the financial services industry, Jeanne Erickson calls upon her knowledge of regulatory compliance and consumer lending issues to help financial institutions develop strategies and solutions that address some of their most challenging operational risk management concerns. Erickson has earned a J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in Grand Forks, North Dakota and a B.S. degree from University of North Dakota.

Nancy Runyon is the director of vendor management at Safeguard Properties. She is responsible for the recruitment and credentialing of new vendors for Safeguards REO, property preservation, inspections, and estimates and repairs service lines, as well as for Safeguards nationwide field quality control representative department. Nancy joined Safeguard in 2000. Since becoming director of vendor management in 2009, Nancy has created several new vendor-focused initiatives, including video training and recurrent nationwide training sessions. The vendor management team serves as support for Safeguards service lines, and Nancy works with each director to ensure vendor compliance across all networks.Nancy is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace College.

Walsh has more than 20 years of senior management experience in the financial services industry and more than 10 years leading technology firms, including time servicing as president of San Diego-based Del Mar Database.He also worked as president of Oakland, Calif.-based RF/Spectrum Decision Science and chairman and CEO of Burlingame, Calif.-based PureCarbon, as well as senior management positions at Woodland Hills, Calif.-based Weyerhaeuser Mortgage, Seattle, Wash.-based SeaFirst Bank and Oakland, Calif.-based All Pacific Mortgage.

Carol Toren joined Citi in February 2008 and is the Correspondent Lending Senior Director. She has also held the role of Senior Director for Direct to Consumer and for Sales Effectiveness and Client Delivery for Citi. Toren leads the Correspondent business through sales and client management teams to optimize Correspondent relationships in order to acquire new loans and clients for the Citi franchise. The team engages and manages Clients with healthy business models, quality loan characteristics and strategic alignment with Citi. Carols team focuses on providing a positive Client experience which produces quality loans and business results while enhancing Citi relationships with our Clients through value-add cross-sell for the lenders and customers. Toren led the Consumer Direct business through the sales and program management teams to optimize the Retention of Citi Mortgage customers and acquire new customers for the Citi franchise through the Acquisition business. In addition to providing mortgage products that meet our customers financial needs, Carols team leverages opportunities to cross-sell bank and credit card products to deepen customer relationships and franchise value. Carol also led the Correspondent Centralized and Affinity business and sales teams for Citi. In her previous Sales Effectiveness role, Carols team designed a world class sales organization strategy and implementation through sales tools, communication strategies, client support teams and supplemental sales teams to drive profitable volume with clients who align with Citi's overall quality and growth strategy. The program maximized sales effectiveness, enhanced customer loyalty and provided opportunity for professional and personal growth for Citi team members. In addition to managing these teams, Toren provided substantial focus on CitiMortgage's implementation of the Obama Administration's Homeowner Affordability and Stability Plan and early Pro-active mitigation strategies where she supported the development of the strategic direction and oversight for the implementation of the refinance and modification programs. Prior to joining Citi, Toren spent more than two decades at Wells Fargo Bank and Home Mortgage where she managed several areas of the business including Correspondent Home Equity and was the Chief Financial Officer for the Home Equity Mortgage channels. Toren holds a Bachelors degree in finance and accounting and a Masters degree in finance from the University of Colorado. Carol has attended the Center for Creative Leadership for Strategic Leadership and the Resilient Leader. She has been an adjunct finance instructor at the University of Colorado and a Director and member of Bridge for Africa.

Austin Tilghman is President and Chief Executive Officer of UCM, responsible for overall management as well as marketing and trading supervision. Mr. Tilghman is a thirty five-year veteran of the mortgage-backed securities and derivatives markets.He started his career with Paine, Webber, Jackson & Curtis was responsible for origination of mortgage-backed securities in the Southeast. In 1986, he took the position of PaineWebbers National Sales manager. In 1987, Austin was recruited by J.P. Morgan Securities, Inc. to help start its MBS department. At J.P. Morgan, Austin was responsible for the mortgage banking desk and headed a design team to offer MSR derivative products. This team crafted some of the first custom products designed to hedge MSRs. In 1992 Austin was recruited by UBS Securities as Director Mortgage Banking Group. This group covered Mortgage originators nationwide and continued to offer the full spectrum of MSR products and services. In 1996, Austin started UCM whos business model is to provide strategic advice and actively hedge MSR volatility.He graduated from Hobart College with a BA in Economics.
