Mr. Stern joined the Office of Investments at Rockefeller University in early 2008. In his role as Director of Private Investments he oversees a portfolio of Venture Capital, Buyout and Growth Capital and Real Assets investments. In this position Mr. Stern is responsible for manager sourcing, selection and monitoring. Previously he worked at Standard & Poors as a director in the Higher Education and Not-for-Profit Group, which was part of the Public Finance Department. In that role Mr. Stern worked closely with a large number of universities and foundations across the United States. Over the course of his 18-year career he also worked as an investment banker, focusing on higher education institutions. Mr Stern received an M.P.A. in public finance from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, an M.S. in non-profit management from New York University and a B.A. in history and sociology from Binghamton University.

Mr. Schlossberg analyzes the economic and investment environment for Wells Capital Management and for other investment groups within Wells Fargo & Co. In that capacity, he participates in daily conference calls to the organizations investment managers and sales people throughout the country. He is a member of Wells Capitals Investment Policy and Liquidity Management strategy committees and also participates in the Fixed-Income Strategy Committee of the Wealth Management Group. Additionally, he regularly makes presentations to Wells Capitals customers and prospects, analyzing conditions in the equity and fixed income markets along with developments in the foreign exchange and international capital markets. He is quoted in the financial press and appears on business radio and TV programs here, in Japan and in the U.K. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Mr. Schlossberg worked as a researcher at the U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve Board covering international economic conditions. He did his graduate work at Pennsylvania State University and is a native of New York.

Joseph "Gray" Davis was overwhelmingly elected the 37th governor of California in 1998, winning 58 percent of the vote.� As Governor, he made education a top priority, signing legislation to strengthen California's K-12 system, increasing accountability in schools, and expanding access to higher education with a record number of scholarships and college loans. These reforms improved student achievement scores for six consecutive years.While presiding over California during an economic expansion, Davis made record investments in infrastructure, created four Centers of Science and Innovation on UC campuses, and expanded state health insurance for an additional one million children.� He also was the first Governor in the nation to authorize stem cell research.As Governor he demonstrated bold environmental leadership by signing the first law in the nation to reduce global warming and greenhouse gases. He also created the first Greenhouse Gas Monitoring Registry, and was the first to establish the nation's most ambitious commitment to renewable energy by creating the statewide Renewables Portfolio Standard.Despite a wave of Republican victories across the nation in 2002, Davis was re-elected to a second term.Davis graduated from Stanford University (Cum Laude) and Columbia Law School, and was awarded the Bronze Star for his service during the Vietnam War. He served as lieutenant governor (1995-1998), state controller (1987-95), state assemblyman (1982-86).Davis is of counsel in the Los Angeles office of Loeb & Loeb, where he provides strategic advice to clients on numerous matters. He is also a Senior Fellow at the UCLA School of Public Affairs and regularly speaks before various academic and civic groups. Davis was the Keynote speaker at the Columbia Law School Graduation Ceremony in May of 2009.

Gary Breaux is Director of Finance for East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD). He is responsible for all financial areas including treasury operations, debt management, rates, internal audit, accounting and reporting, risk management and customer and community services.Mr. Breaux has worked for local governments since 1983. He joined EBMUD in 1994 as Director of Finance. Prior to joining the District, he was Director of Finance for the City of Oakland, CA.A native of Colorado Mr. Breaux received a B.S. degree in Business from the University of Colorado in 1977 and a Masters degree in Public Administration in 1987 from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Breaux is a member of the American Water Works Association and the American Institute of CPAs.

Sunne Wright McPeak is the President and CEO of the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF), a statewide non-profit organization whose mission is to close the Digital Divide by accelerating the deployment and adoption of broadband. She assumed the position as the CETF first chief executive in December 2006 after serving for three years as Secretary of the California Business, Transportation and Housing Agency for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. With McPeaks vision and drive, CETF has positioned California as a national leader in closing the Digital Divide, initiating groundbreaking applications such as the California Telehealth Network, Digital Literacy, Smart Housing Policy, School2Home (to improve education), and Get Connected!. As Secretary of the California Business, Transportation and Housing Agency, McPeak oversaw the largest state Agency, including the Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Department of Motor Vehicles, California Highway Patrol, Office of Traffic Safety, Department of Housing and Community Development, California Housing Finance Agency, Department of Real Estate, Office of Real Estate Appraisers, Department of Financial Institutions, Department of Corporations, Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control, Department of Managed Health Care, Office of Patient Advocate, Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank, California Travel and Tourism Commission, California Film Commission, Small Business Guarantee Program, Office of Military and Aerospace Support, International Trade Promotion Program, and New Motor Vehicle Board. She was responsible for more than 42,000 employees and a budget in excess of $11billion. Under McPeaks leadership, performance and productivity in all departments of the Agency improved significantlycutting average wait times at the DMV from over an hour to 21 minutes, reducing by two-thirds the time to issue real estate licenses, and generating more than $180 million in savings. She also provided key policy leadership in support of the Governor to develop and implement major investments in infrastructure and to foster groundbreaking regional smart growth planning.Before being recruited to Governor Schwarzeneggers Cabinet, McPeak served for seven years as President and CEO of the Bay Area Council, a major employer-led policy organization addressing regional economic prosperity issues. For three years prior, she served as the President and CEO of the Bay Area Economic Forum, a public-private partnership between the Bay Area Council and the Association of Bay Area Governments. In that position she pioneered the development and deployment of regional economic performance metrics to drive public policy. Sunne McPeak served for more than fifteen years as a member of the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors, having been first elected at age 30. When she left public office her colleagues renamed the Board Chambers in her honor. She has led numerous statewide initiatives on a variety of issues ranging from water, to housing, to child care, and served as President of the California State Association of Counties in 1984. She was named by the San Francisco League of Women Voters as A Woman Who Could Be President. She also served on the Boards of Directors of First Nationwide Bank and Simpson Manufacturing Company.Sunne (whose first name is her Norwegian grandmothers family last name) grew up on a small dairy farm in the San Joaquin Valley. She earned a B.A. in an Individual Major (International Medicine) from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a MPH in Health Education and Medical Care Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. She has been awarded two honorary doctorates from California State University East Bay and John F. Kennedy University.

Theresia Trevino is the Chief Financial Officer of the Riverside County Transportation Commission with responsibilities including financial, budget, procurement, investment, and debt management.� She manages the Measure A sales tax and toll revenue financing programs.� She has implemented a commercial paper program, executed interest rate swaps, and issued sales tax revenue bonds that include variable rate debt and Build America Bonds.� In July 2013, she financed the $1.3 billion 91 Project, which will extend the SR-91 Express Lanes into Riverside County, add a general purpose lane, and include other improvements.� The financing included toll revenue bonds, sales tax revenue bonds, a federal TIFIA loan, and other Measure A contributions.�Throughout her career, Theresia�s focus has been serving Southern California governmental entities.� She was the Accounting and Financial Reporting Department Manager at the Orange County Transportation Authority following her public accounting career�including 16 years with Ernst & Young where she led the development of the Southern California public sector practice.� Theresia is a magna cum laude graduate of Loyola Marymount University where she received a B.S. in Accounting; she also completed the UCR Executive Management Program.� She is a CPA, licensed in California.

Brad Gewehr is a Director in the Municipal Products Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he specializes in advising issuer clients on credit structure and rating strategies.� He has over 25 years of experience in municipal finance, having served as a rating analyst, investment banker and director of both sell-side and buy-side municipal research teams.Brad works with BofAML’s issuer clients to help develop rating and investor relations strategies. �He has participated in the development and introduction of numerous new credits into the market.� A significant focus in recent years has been assisting issuers in analyzing and disclosing their retirement benefit obligations.Before joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Mr. Gewehr headed a fixed-income research team for UBS Wealth Management; prior to that, he was a municipal investment banker with UBS Securities, concentrating on pension, tobacco settlement, and special assessment credits.As a Managing Director in the Public Finance Group of Moody’s Investors Service, Mr. Gewehr supervised ratings on municipal tax-backed, utility and transportation revenue, and lease credits in 26 states.� As a senior member of Rating Committee, he participated in rating decisions for major municipal credits throughout the United States.Brad earned an MBA in Finance from New YorkUniversity and a BA from AmherstCollege.

Rob has been in Vallejo for 7 years and before that was Finance Director of Modesto. He has been involved in all aspects of governmental finance for over 30 years. He has been Chief Financial Officer for cities and a county in five different states. He has worked for several large accounting firms and was an original staff member of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board the infamous GASB, and served on the Governmental Accounting Standards Advisory Committee. But, more importantly, he is a Past President of the Nevada Government Finance Officers Association, has served on the Executive Boards of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and the California, Connecticut and Florida government finance officers associations. He was served as Assistant to the Director of Governmental Services for Coopers & Lybrand. He has taught on a variety of governmental accounting and finance topics for the University of Georgia, Florida Atlantic University, the Government Finance Officers Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Government Accountants and other organizations.He has specialized in improving financial and budgetary systems to provide more useful, accurate and timely information to decision makers.

�With more than 35 years of experience, Harriet Welch has her “finger on the pulse” in respect to public finance law. Harriet represents California bond issuers, investment bankers, direct placement banks and borrowers on tax-exempt financings. She has served as bond counsel for the California Educational Facilities Authority, the California Municipal Finance Authority, the California Statewide Communities Development Authority, the County of Los Angeles, the City of Los Angeles, the City of Oakland and the State Public Works Board.Harriet’s practice has focused extensively in recent years on engagements for colleges, universities, private schools and other nonprofit organizations. Since 1986 she has worked on more than 200 financings involving these entities in California.She has also served as Disclosure Counsel to the City of Los Angeles, the State Public Works Board, the County of San Bernardino and the City of Bakersfield.Harriet is a frequent speaker on tax-exempt financings, including most recently at the 2015 Bond Buyer California Public Finance Conference and 2010 National Association of Bond Lawyers Bond Attorneys Workshop. She has spoken on issues relating to Municipal Bankruptcy at the ABA Annual Meeting in San Francisco in 2013 and is a frequent speaker at webinars on this subject.In 2007, she was named a fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel. She is on the Advisory Board of the Sol Price School of Public Policy and is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL). She is past president of the California Association of Bond Lawyers and a former board member of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. She is a founding member of Women in Public Finance-Los Angeles.In 2013 Harriet received the Women in Public Finance “She’s Our Hero” award, which recognizes a woman’s successful management of career, self-development, family issues and civic involvement.�
